As far as the price is concerned, there’s some interesting news from the rumor mill. According to a report by TechRadar, who caught a glimpse of some documents showing the price of the device for the UK market, the OnePlus 5T will have the same price as the OnePlus 5, and be available in 64GB and 128GB versions. No official word from the manufacturer about this yet, but we’ll be watching the livestream of the New York presentation event in the hope that OnePlus will confirm these figures.
The brand is preparing for launch and tweeted a photo of the city where the launch event will be held.

Chinese tech blog GizChina displays an AnTuTu benchmark screenshot that it claims to be of the OnePlus 5T. Listed with model name OnePlus A5010, the benchmark shows off the smartphone’s specs, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, Adreno 540 GPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The listing of a pair of 20-megapixel sensors is interesting, suggesting that boosting the photo capabilities was a big priority for OnePlus. We could be looking at a full-HD+ resolution of 1080×2160 pixels – an aspect ratio of 18:9, which matches up with other leaks. Then there’s also the fact that it’s specified to be running the latest Android version, so the OnePlus 5T could ship with Oreo ready out of the box.
More signs pointing to a OnePlus 5T release have been spotted. Chinese online shop Oppomart has started taking pre-orders for the 5T ahead of an official confirmation from OnePlus. Everything that has been previously leaked matches up here, although strangely enough, the Snapdragon 865 quad-core chip listed in the shop is actually a step down from the 865 octa-core currently in the OnePlus 5. Pricing is also seen at the shop in USD at $549 for the 64GB model, and $649 for the 128GB version.
A word of warning though: As noted on their website disclaimer, “Oppomart.com is not an official shop of OPPO”, so this news stays in the realm of speculation until OnePlus confirms the release.
